How did GameCentral start?

(Togepy, Mewtwo, and Mitchellu, are the creators' screen names)

GameCentral all began (early May 1999) after Togepy, convinced Mewtwo to buy Pokémon the game for GameBoy. Mewtwo got Pokémon red, and Togepy had blue. After Togepy helped Mewtwo beat Pokémon, Mewtwo came up with an idea. His idea was to create a website on Pokémon. Togepy and Mitchellu thought the idea over, and suggested that instead of a site on Pokémon, that they create a site on games in general. Mewtwo agreed. The next challenge was thinking up a name for the site. Togepy and Mewtwo were clueless. Mitchellu came up with the idea of GameCentral. Mewtwo and Togepy liked the idea, and Togepy started to make a site. After hours of work, and relearning HTML, Togepy had something started (mid to late May 1999). GameCentral was finally uploaded to FortuneCity during late May to early June 1999. Next our fly.to address was set up and GameCentral started.
